  • Why I Call My Blog "Palms of His Hands"
"Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands..." ~ Isaiah 49:15-16a

About Me

Some people stop to smell the roses. Some people say, "What roses? Where?" I stop, smell, sit down, watch the butterflies land, and enjoy the garden.

All in the Family

It began with Raymond (my honey) and me on August 3, 1984. Kyle was added in April, 1988; Cassie in April 1991; Candace in January, 1995; Mason in May, 2012; and Claire in June, 2012. That's how it stands for now. There is still plenty of room in our hearts and lives for more.

Words to Live By...

"I have learned that I will not change the world, Jesus will do that. I can however, change the world for one person." ~ Katie Davis

“It may take place in a foreign land or it may take place in your backyard, but I believe that we were each created to change the world for someone. To serve someone. To love someone the way Christ first loved us, to spread His light. This is the dream, and it is possible.” ~ Katie Davis
